Keyboard shortcuts
TCast is built to be driven from the keyboard during a show. Most of these are in the menus, but the fastest ones are not, so this page is the complete list.
Playing clips

| 1–9 | Take the 1st to 9th clip on the board live. Press again to take it off. |

| J | Back 5 seconds |

| → | Next clip |
The number keys count in board order, top to bottom: each playlist in turn, then Unsorted. Searching in the app DOES NOT renumber them.
Transport keys act on the primary layer, which is media if something's on the media layer and audio otherwise.
Program

| Esc | Clear the clip selection, or clear the media layer if nothing is selected |
Clear Media Layer is on the Program menu with no key of its own, for when you want the media gone but the background and overlay left alone.
Board and playlists

| ⌘C | Copy the selected playlists |
| ⌘V | Paste playlists, including into a different project |
| ⌥⌘↑ | Move the selected clip up |
| ⌥⌘↓ | Move the selected clip down |
Copy and paste work across projects, which is the quickest way to reuse a playlist you've already built. Open the other project and paste.

File ▸ Open Recent lists projects you've had open lately.
Getting help
Help ▸ Reveal Crash Logs… opens the folder macOS writes crash reports to. Support will ask for these if TCast quits unexpectedly. See Error codes for everything else.
Driving TCast from something other than a keyboard
A Stream Deck reaches all of the above and more, with button tally that lights up while a clip is on air. See Control TCast from a Stream Deck. There's also an iPhone and iPad remote, paired with a QR code from Settings ▸ Remote Control. The remote app is not on the App Store in the EU yet, so if that's you, a Stream Deck or the control API is the way in.
